Careers
Come build the next one.
We are a small company and we intend to stay that way, which means we hire rarely and think hard about it when we do. If that sounds slow, it is.

What the job is like
Four things worth knowing.
-
Ownership
You will own a product surface, not a queue of tickets. If you break it, you fix it. If you improve it, everyone sees it.
-
Small rooms
Teams of two to four. Enough people to argue with, few enough that the argument ends the same afternoon.
-
Real hours
We do not run on crunch. Software that has to last a decade is not built by people working weekends.
-
Ship weekly
Work reaches customers in days, not quarters. The feedback loop is the whole job.
How we hire
Four steps, about two weeks.
- 01
You write to us
No form with eleven required fields. An email, a link to something you made, and a paragraph on why this company and not another one.
- 02
We talk
One conversation with the people you would actually work with. We will tell you what is hard about the job, because there is always something.
- 03
A paid exercise
A small, real piece of work: a few hours, scoped and paid. No take-home marathons, no whiteboard algorithms you will never use again.
- 04
A decision, quickly
You hear back within a week either way, with a reason. Being left to wonder is the worst part of looking for work and it is entirely avoidable.
